Trending @Infosys; Pip initiation by Mentor

Hi, today I received an icount mail that my mentor is assigned 3 certification to be completed. I haven’t had a discussion with HR yet. In the mail it says to accept pip within 3 days. What are the next procedures? I thought that prior to initiation I will be having a discussion with HR. Can please let me know if they are in similar situation. I’m a Specialist Programmer(L1)
