Today I got a call from the RMG team that I've been put on PIP because I'm on bench for 891 days but the thing is I've worked in 2 projects as a Shadow resource for 17 months. They said in 2 months I have to get a project ASAP otherwise I have to self resign. Please tell me what to do.?? ( I am from SAP ABAP background 2.5 yrs exp)

2021 October and after training I got project in October 2022 since then till 2024 Feb I'm on a project in development and support team but as shadow resource, they said that is also counted as bench period

Same my case , shadow from long ago same like you..but they are not releasing from project as i working good and nor taking billable . how to handle this situation, what to do for job safety?

Ask your previous manager to send an email regarding the same. Tell them that you have worked for them for so and so time, but you are getting pressure from RMG team for so and so reason. Also check with your previous project seniors. If they have billed you, then you are safe. If not then ask your previous manager for any project openings..

How you will get project/ search project? Any tool , website , any contact person ?

Capgemini has Internal Job Portal. But they never give you reply for any opening you applied. Best option is Portfolio manager or bench manager. Continue contact them. Ask your friends if their project have any openings.

Please search outside - my opinion..
Last year Dec I mentored PIP candidates, they performed average but management insisted me to give as negative outcome and close it.

I advice you to start searching out of Capgemini, there are lots of opportunities available for skilled resources.

Did you used project code of those two projects in time sheet while in shadow? Or used only bench code for all days
