Trending @Accenture; PIP during Project

Hi, my HR and capability manager told me that pip will be initiated from tomorrow, I am currently on project and fully occupied with work, they will provide some (infact many) task to complete within four weeks of duration, if I fail they will ask to leave company same day, anyone went through this process? Can I resign during PIP, if yes what would be Notice period, it seems hard to complete along with project work , and they are not supporting me for this, Please Help 🙏, TIA

PIP means you won’t get anything for next 1 year. No hike, no VP. No promotions for next 2 years. You can always resign, better get an offer from outside and then resign

If I resign during PIP , do they allow me to serve the notice period? because during PIP it is almost impossible to give an interview in another company because currently I have full bandwidth in project and that PIP task will take the remaining time

If they have the audacity of loading you with work and still giving PIP why would you be worried about the quality work more than your own career? Notice period will be entirely dependent on HR and project Manager, they can do whatever they want.

They informed me on 26th may people lead along with his manager that I will be on PIP but yet as of 3rd July the pip didn't start and also when I ask about clarity the people lead leaves my msg on seen, I am confused what to do, as this is the first time I will be in PIP in my 5 yrs of Service in IT sector

I am with Accenture from last 8 years and this time they put me into PIP, since yesterday the plan is started, they have given 4 weeks of tasks which I am already doing on daily basis. I asked HR on termination of unsuccessful PIP, for how many months they can pay the salary but she didn't say anything, and then said she will check with leads.

Because I'm going through this situation, I will suggest you if you are on project, resign before they initiated PIP, because they will load you with lot of task for next 4 weeks , once you will be put on PIP you can't resign before completing pip

Can you please tell me why they put you in PIP if you are working and busy in a project and responsibilities?

PIP - as per project lead ur not working as expected or ur performance is poor if so they will initiate PIP.. and after pip if they think ur performance is as expected then they will retain you in project.

I think they give notice period pay when you resign on PIP's last day. So resign or not, it does not matter. In fact, it's better to go through the PIP and then resign as you will be an immediate joiner. There's a possibility that you will be out of PIP if the current project wants you. But in the long term, it's better to start planning to switch.

Resign immediately and apply for the jobs outside simultaneously. DO NOT stay when you have an information of them putting you in PIP.

They said they have already initiated PIP and will start from Monday, and you won't be able to resign during PIP, now I have two options either I have to complete that or they will terminate me after 4 weeks of task results

Iam in same situation yesterday Pip initiated for me.
If I clear PIP also, they'll give negative feedback only for sure.
Could someone suggest how to apply outside & even if I resign also within the next day of PIP completes should go out of organization?
What's the settlement just one month salary or how? Please help
