People to put in PIP are being identified in my team. What do we have to go through if we are put in PIP?

If any resource is in PIP it means they have already decides to let go of that resource. So better to look out for opportunities. Anyways you will be given either one month or 3 months opportunity to prove your excellence and complete the task provided by the manager. But these task will be very tough and cannot be completed in that given time so they will give that reason and let the resource leave the company.

Thanks for explaining. As a lead we are helpless as we have to provide ranking and last ones are considered for PIP
