Trending @Accenture; PIP After Resignation

Is this legal to put into pip after resignation? I resigned and then my manager put me into PIP. They asked me for early release, I said no. They used this strategy. There is no point of PIP because any which ways I will be leaving. I did not found any Accenture PIP policy. May be manager had ego or attitude issues as her toxic behavior was irritating. They just want to save salary now it seems.

It's not an ego issue, they need to put a few people in PIP. Since you resigned, they are using your name to save someone. It's completely wrong, however most of the SM's are doing this.

There is nothing wrong in this. He has already resigned so he will have no impact.

@Alex22 Yes, he doesn't have any impact. However, if he wants to come back in the future what will happen? Just curious.

This is not legal. Manager is misusing power. Report to HR immediately.

Hr is also involved in the process from beginning and it's their strategy plan.

HR are just puppets of management in Accenture and following their orders, they don’t help anyone

If you got PIP confirmation after resignation then it's of no use. As per law, you can't be on PIP after resignation. PIP can be only before resignation.

Yes but can't help. Talked with one legal advisor he said it's accenture case na. Nothing will happen as it happens always here.

Don't worry, your notice period will be less than PIP period, so forget about it.

I think you should enjoy the paid months. So even if they are releasing you early as per Accenture policy they are bound to give salary for complete three months. If you want three torturous months go through it. If you have offer ready go for PIP. And enjoy your paid holidays.
