Trending @Accenture; PIP After dropping papers and Workday feedback harassment without proof and no reason 😡
Folks,
After completing 2 years of my journey, I put down my papers 2 months ago. Just 2 days back, my PL (who I never had direct interaction with until now and was only tagged in Teams for a loaned project) suddenly came up with a Workday feedback.
When asked to stay, I clearly mentioned that I’d consider only if there’s a 10–12% hike or if I’m given a fresh implementation project instead of support. Otherwise, I already have a strong offer with 40%+ hike.
Instead of addressing this, they’ve put in negative feedback and now I sense they’re even considering PIP. Honestly, this reflects very poorly on them – cheap politics like this damages Accenture’s brand name. Some people prefer to sit in their comfort zone for years, but skilled professionals will always crack interviews and get the best opportunities outside.

@Iamhere7
What they have done is totally wrong.
But please note I do not agree with few of the things what you have said.
Cracking Interview is the most easiest thing. Selection in interview is pure luck based in service based companies. In half an hour no one can know your knowledge. Only if you appear for google or facebook interviews things are different. So dont put statement like those who switch are talented. And those who dont are not. I take interviews - it has hardly to do with people with super knowledge but more about attitude. This is how things are in service based.

If you are leaving the company they they can’t give you PIP. Please speak to the hr and get it reversed. The management is bound to change it. I am in Accenture for last 10yrs. Get the HR involved

If u get a PIP and leave u won’t be able to join back again

Everyone is facing this, even I'm serving my NP and my manager is quite open about management's decisions. They have put all the NP serving people into IP to save others from getting IP and to maintain the bell curve. I was one of the top performers in the project, but if they give me TP now, they're just going to waste their hike allocation and money, which is anyways not going to come to me. It's basically to save others in the project.

All this drama started after 45 days of my notice period. The real reason I didn’t stay back is simple — even when I was open to staying, they made it clear there’s no assurance of promotion or hike. Instead, it was just unnecessary evaluations, fake promises, and feedback without valid reasoning.
I’m done with Accenture anyway. Really unfortunate to see that Accenture still allows groups like this to thrive, feeding off the system instead of valuing genuine talent.

Buddy company situation is difficult. They need to pay high salaries to leadership, someone needs to sacrifice hikes so in case us. You may be unhappy with your manager trust me even they are helpless. People sit on bench for months and I have tried interviewing one who was on bench for more than 6 months and I had never seen her attitude in anyone, after 5 days of following up with her I couldn't get her to interview, so if we are having these type of people our hike need to take a cut to ensure they too stay in the company to build bench strength.

It’s basically him sacrificing you for someone else in the team. The HR was very clear this talent discussion that 10% folks need to be tagged as IP (improve performance). The managers don’t have a choice so most of them then sacrifice the notice period guys. It doesn’t stop there then these HR guys keep on following up to fill in feedback and a checklist for IP people if you don’t do it then they’ll swap the IP guy with someone else. I feel for you but also understand your managers predicament.

Exactly
