PHYSICAL RED CARPET EVENT - INFOSYS

I'm joining infosys on September Received a mail to attend physical red carpet Event at any of the infosys office on aug 22 which is a weekday

I don't have leaves to take so I may not be able to attend the event. Is it mandatory?

Tried calling the HR for clarity no response yet

Please suggest if this mandatory event to attend physically at campus and whom to convey if I'm not able to attend
