Performance cycle in Infy has very little to do with hikes. The top performer gets 10%, the middle performer gets 7% and the low performer gets 4%.
For the extra 3%, the efforts you’ll have to put is insane. But this helps in promotions whenever it happens. Promotions usually have a 2 year role maturity. As you attain that, you’ll be eligible for promotion. A top performer can get from JL3 to JL5 in a matter of 6-7 years maximum and 4-5 years minimum.
A middle performer will take longer.

Need to have dependency is only way we can get good performance. Working on something hard which other team mates can also do. Wont help
