Trending @Accenture; People who just had their Year End Discussions (end of last month), could they still get promoted/hike?
I noticed a bunch of people just got promoted. I joined Accenture in Jan 2024 at CL12 and I’ve performed beyond expectations and heard the same feedback, but I’ve heard nothing so far regarding my promotion.
Bro you joined at 2024 -Jan and within 6 months you are expecting a promotion. There'll be plenty of ppl who completed 2-3 years in your project itself. They'll have priority for getting promoted.
If there are none, then you might have chances if you have performed exceptionally well and have some certificates.
I know the sentiment, but I have come with solid 2 years of experience, when I joined the team 4 out of 5 people resigned and I’ve been doing the work of 4 with no complaint, including my manager’s. Over that I’ve improved the systems to create efficiency so its not just completely grunt work. The clients have sent multiple mails praising my work. Even then, is that how things will work? If so, this is a very sad reality check I’ll have to face, I won’t work as hard as I did in this team, never again. What’s the point if my YOE is all it boils down to?
Apply outside asap. If you feel you have the skill sets and confidence in your performance. Apply outside, you might even get 2x to 3x your current package. Accenture everything is on luck,you might get the best or worst, or complete normal. Take your career in your hands.
my people lead mentioned- i don't showcase my work, i don't take initiative...
well from the start of the project, i am. we were even extending shifts and now after 4 months, i don't want to extend anymore.
i don't know what they even want after that region wise politics
Bro. If u think a fresher can get promotion with his/her exceptional performance, then my frnd, you are still in a dilusion.
I thought u were fresher. For 2 years experience you should be at lvl 11..dont know why they gave u lvl 12.
If u have 2 years exp(still at lvl 12) then you have some chances of getting promoted.
Promotions at Accenture are a mystery wrapped in an enigma. You've done well, but the process is unpredictable. Keep pushing, but don't hold your breath.
