If My fixed CTC is 6 LPA and I received 10% VP in last cycle which makes total CTC 6.6 LPA and if I consider with 21% VP (maximum) then it will be 7.26 LPA so during switch if another company's HR asks my total CTC should I say 6.6 LPA or 7.26 LPA?

One HR told me that they will consider fixed salary only , not the whole ctc.

That's strange. May I know which company was it?

Yeah this occurs, some consider base pay+ what variable you got last cycle not max variable

During discussions with HR, I told both the part separately. As per my experience, they consider only the fixed part but it may differ company to company.

Hr won't consider any vp for them it's always the base salary without the vp
