People other than who get than FAANG or big tech fetishes.

As the title suggests, what did you do rather than going for FAANG or other big tech, how did you successfully quit and started working on something else, people who work in FAANG just want to be put on pedestal for the rest of their life because because they slave for Bezoz, zuck and co.

Working a stable job to have 90% of time free (traded with 50-60% less salary for same position and skill set from FAANG). That free time I am investing in my own startup. Creativity over lifetime Slave mindset.
