People in 30s, are your fathers alive and well?

A common , unexpected and disturbing trend that I've noticed in women near/post 30s that I'm meeting is that many of them lost their fathers in the last 5-7 years.

Some were pre covid , and most others post covid.

I guess males usually have higher risk of sickness/passing post 55-60 compared to women. Plus covid effed everyone up extra. But I never noticed this trend before, definitely not firsthand.

My dad had a serious heart attack last year, thankfully he's okay now. But i worry about him a lot since it happened. Want to know if anyone else is seeing this too.

I'm less than 30, he's alive
I'm less than 30, he passed away
I'm 30/30+, he's alive
I'm 30/30+, he passed away

I'm 32. Never felt sad when my so called father passed away. He was cruel, money sucking abuser. When I was 8 yr old, mother took a hard decision to get divorce. She stood by her word. Still the same. My uncle's are my heroes. I wept when they were gone out of this world. She, her parents and her brothers shaped my life. If I'm so happy today, it's all because of them. Their struggle. I never called my uncles "appa". But they were more than it..
