People getting less than 2 LPM, what did you do wrong?
what do you think you lack?

There's nothing wrong with earning less than 2 lpm. Not everyone needs that much money in life. Living expenses in tier 2 and beyond usually don't cross more than 20-30k per month anyways.

car? house? shopping? traveling Europe? PS5? brother everything is wrong in earning less.
hope your kids have a good life.

Now imagine someone posting the same question you posted for 10LPM and saying stuff like
luxury car? bunglow? luxury clothes? traveling europe, america, Australia? PS5,Xbox, Gaming Pc?
hope your kids have a good life.
Not everybody gets dealt the same cards in this life and usually it's not the individuals fault.
Everybody could do with a little more money but no need to be so condescending about it

Experience? Aur 5 - 10 saal mein toh itna mil hi jana chahiye

fresher to ~1 yr, for me

Good for you then, congratulations on winning the sprint , but life is a marathon and trust me if you just want to flex your salary over others sooner or later the people who are earning less than you will catch up. Be humble, try doing it you will feel better.

From tier-3 IIT Worked for 6+ company projects 4 of them were research. Created POC for 3. Do have 7 research papers on my name. Earning 9LPA.
I think poor decision making in terms of negotiating salary. I haven't applied during my time in IIT. Started looking for jobs 3 months after leaving the college and fed up with job search during 2021. Then accepted the job for 9LPA. Worked like hell . Most senior people's project have been transferred to me as I completed a project in 2 months time (Never doing that again). That person have 15 YOE. Worked on Saturdays earlier but stopped working on weekends from start of project. Manager tried all sorts of work. He said I should extent daytime form 8-8:30. I said I can't I am coming by walk from PG. He said buy a bike, i said I can't afford. He said he will arrange bicycle, i didn't accept. Later he said I will arrange food for both morning and dinner here but you have to pay. I said I can't afford zomato, swiggy's other charges daily. (He used to eat by ordering on top restaurants with company's money. Poor HR used to order for him). I used to discuss everything with my family and then I came to know the reality by looking at Glassdoor. Average salary for ML is 11 LPA in blr and 10 in HYd. I felt like I lost everything. I sort of reduced my work to 20-30% (instead of completing 6-7 on average, I did only 1-2 per day). Others used to do 1-3 work per day. Just in one week time, my manager asked me what's the problem and told me that he will raise my salary to 12 LPA next month but show my full potential. I did (3-5 job) comparably higher than the entire team of 5 people. He didn't raise my salary the next month. I reduced the work to 1 per day. Everybody started bashing me like anything. I felt like happy personally. I started my research work and did 2 papers for 4 months. During those months I felt like 70k is for the work that I have done earlier.

Paying taxes :(
