peak corporate innovation bs

Last month the leadership at my org decided we aren't disruptive enough.. Next day we get this massive email about a revolutionary new AI ideation portal. Everyone was mandated to log two innovative ideas every Friday before logging off.

I finally opened this groundbreaking tech last week because my manager was pinging me non stop. Bhai it was literally a basic free web form embedded into our slow ass intranet. It didn't even load half the time and the submit button was just broken.

My teammate got so annoyed he submitted "buy a better server for this form" as his weekly innovation. HR actually scheduled a sync with him on Monday for misalignment with core values. He just resigned yesterday.

Forcing employees to give ideas is peak Indian stupidity. Leadership thinks that employees are cattle who when whipped will pull more.

I worked in an OEM. We had a cost reduction program, where every one was asked to give idea to reduce cost. People who didnt participate where see like villain. Most of the time, i used to give ideas that was either implemented 3-4 years before or simply that was unachievable.
