[Paytm] Many MF will face the wrath next week

How do MF manage such shocks? Damn, didn't know that so many MF had exposure. I think many of them may not buy more if other payment players start poaching merchants.

Intresting to see SBI payments reacting to news.

Paytm, after the 3 drops of 20,20,10%, still has a market cap of 27,800cr which makes it a large cap stock.
Any stock values above 20k cr ($2.5bn) is a large cap stock. Paytm IPOed at $19bn.

  2. Worst affected are going to be FasTag users who bought from PayTM.
  3. No deposits / credits...

That stock is about to crash so fucking hard. Thank god i got out. The crappiest IPO of this decade.

This is eerily reminiscent of Razorpay debacle. Something similar has even happened to AmEx at some point in India. ...

PayTM, 31st Jan

Can someone explain what just happened to PayTM and if other FinTechs could be subject to something similar?
