Payment Gateway Reco (Razorpay | CCAvenue | Cashfree | PayU)
I'm looking to shift from my current payment Gateway (PayTM). I've used CCAvenue in its heyday when it was the most developer friendly.
I need to have reliable transaction success rates but PayU seems antiquated and Razorpay and Cashfree can't seem to be able to onboard new merchants because of their PA license issues.
Can someone either confirm the ban for razorpay and cashfree or put me in touch with either who can onboard us? If not, would you guys recommend ccavenue or something else?

Try phonepe or easebuzz. Both are onboarding. You can also see if Juspay would be a good fit for your use case as it would save you the effort of new pg integrations

Juspay looks good, will check them out. But as far as I know, it's just a routing layer and I might still have to onboard with the PGs. Could be wrong though.
I've been hearing easebuzz a few times lately. Never heard of them before. Any idea who the guys are and their credentials?

Correct. Juspay is a Payment Router. Even if you integrate with it, you would need to have an actual PG like Razorpay, PhonePe, etc behind it.
And yes, Razorpay does have an embargo on onboarding new clients. Not sure when it would be lifted up. Go for PhonePe. If your usecase is UPI heavy, no one offers better success rates than PhonePe

You’re looking for which payment method? PhonePe has the recent gateway offering. Performs quite well across except NB

Too new in the PG market. Good rates to begin with but I don't know how it'll play out a year down the line. Plus it's their secondary product so don't know about their focus.

There's this new payment gateway totally awesome and taking over stripe, called Paddle. You can search for it. It takes 5% commissions but it's worth it because of less hassle and many many many features unlike stripe where you have to get an app from marketplace and later pay commissions. But it's friendly for SaaS startups only. Millions of SaaS startups and indie projects shifted to paddle.

What is wrong with Paytm? Apparently there's an embargo on them as well.

For cards you can Stripe
