Paying 60k rent for an absolute nightmare.
Recently on Friday, I did a field visit for this notorious delivery zone in Bangalore It involved 5 major societies.
The first four buildings were normal, accessible, and standard drops which went well. I observed all the rider handoffs fairly well and the manager was happy seeing the metrics.
The fifth society was in Panathur where people happily pay 60k rent - Now this was the turning point. The security was more concerned about arbitrary entry rules. He asked questions like, where is the pass, where is the vendor ID, if walking 2km is okay for the rider (I was testing the route for my org ), and where is your EV ( I said we use petrol bikes and that turned off the head guard of a premium society), how will you bring big bags inside, why your riders not using the basement service lift?. And I was like "WTF man".the only logical question he asked -> "Have you ever driven a truck in this mud in your recent days?". 😂😂
After wasting more than 4 hours in the traffic I went back to office without any solution.
Message to tenants - if you are more concerned about living right next to the tech park, please check if a basic cab can even reach your gate.
