Paternity WFO expection
In a month , I'll become father. Will TCS provide me exception ? I've read in policies upto 1 year can be availed in 2 request (6 month each). If anyone took that please confirm what documents might be required to share . Thanks
Yes, I used that exception. It's a total of 6 months, not 6 × 2. It requires two levels of approval (1. HR, 2. Supervisor) and only the child's birth certificate is needed—nothing else. You can apply for only one month at a time, and you need to apply for all 6 months separately. It is applicable until the child reaches 1 year of age

It really depends on project to project and HR ... Not every HR approve paternity leave
Sad reality of TCS
Birth certificate along with doctor prescription if any illness in new born baby and in one time HR will approve 30 days. Again you need send mail for WFH extension in next month (before 5 days end of prior approval)
