Paternity leave

Such a shame . Tcs does not even provide paternity leave . Asking to applying Earned or Casual leave.

but you can apply for 6 months child care wfh ,policy is there

Yes in policy papers. But my supervisor said “Few things are not in our hands. Can’t avail those WFH”.

I had a very unpleasant experience during my paternity leave earlier this year. I was forced to use my earned leaves since HR did not approve any work-from-office exceptions. Unfortunately, it feels like the policies are created only for display and not truly implemented in practice.

I understand your frustration but actually no indian company have concept of paternity leave

What about Work from home during that period? They are not going to lose anything by approving WFH.. such a sick management people we have got!

Many companies give paternity leave . Like WNS give 15 days paternity leave .

Paternity leave only is when ur a single parent or father for extreme cases
Maternity leave is only there

No indian MNC gives
Its just written for the above case not for anything else
