Hi I am new to the whole process of creating a passport and want to ask how other people who may have had a use case similar to mine went ahead with getting a passport.
My use case: I have been living on rent in Bangalore since the past 4-5 years. My family too lives on rent in Mumbai.
I mentioned this because as far as I know one needs a permanent address and address proof to submit for a passport, can someone who has dealt with a similar use case help me out please?

When someone means to use a platform to get help, they do that because that increases visibility amongst a variety of people who may have answers and who are willing to help.

Call the passport office and ask what needs to be done, this is a simple question first of all. Unnecessarily don't spam the feed.
