Trending @Accenture; Paid bench

Is it true that 45 days bench is paid only in business client initiated process and not paid when a person is not able to work in same process due to some medical condition. And asking for this bench so that they can look for other process?

There is a distinction between being on the bench for business reasons and requesting accommodations due to medical or personal emergencies. It seems there may be some confusion. If you’re unable to perform your regular duties due to personal or medical reasons, accommodation policies apply, which could lead to paid or unpaid leaves of absence.

Exactlyy! But accommodation is denied .. and hr knows that my condition is not recoverable still insisting me to take loa and come back and join same project. What should I do? As they are saying there is no accommodation policy.🥲🥲

For medical conditions, you can avail you available leave and then go on Leave of absence which will be unpaid till you land up in a project. But if you are on bench due to project roll off or not getting assigned generally to any project, you be paid full.

Bench policies can vary. Generally, bench time is paid, but specifics depend on company policy and circumstances. It's best to check with HR for accurate details.

Hr said it will be unpaid plus there is no redeployment available in this condition wherein its not possible for me to work in same conditions in current role. Also i was told to leave of absence even though it won’t resolve anything 😭. What can i do now plus they are not providing policy where it is outlined 😭
