Trending @Cognizant; PA to A promotion doubt🄲

--> The Tenure at Level (TAL) criterion has been revised from 24 months to 30 months for all PA-A level promotions across regions and business units.

Initially, I thought we needed to complete 30 months from the joining date.

However, when I checked with HR yesterday, they mentioned that the 30-month period is calculated from the PA promotion date, not from the Cognizant joining date.😭😭😭

Could there be a miscommunication regarding this? I'm a bit worried about it.

Well if you think about it , 30 months on PA level and 12 months initial as PAT , that is 3.5 years as overall experience, and I don't think there will be much people who have 3.5 yrs exp and still not promoted to A.

My Doj is June 2022 and my HCM told me that my name is on the list they got from EDLs. So it's clear 30 months is the overall exp.
