So I joined in November it's been 3 months Today my project HR pinged me asking about my total years of experience and my highest education for "administrative" purpose Am I getting fired? Or am I just anxious?

It is common ,the anxiety will be there for everyone. When the project has not been assigned for more than 2 months Don't worry you will not get fired. HR will try find project for you.
