Overlooked by Google and Amazon: feeling stuck

Hi everyone,

I need to vent a bit and hopefully get some advice. Recently, I applied for positions at Google and Amazon. I meticulously went through the job requirements and updated my resume to match, making sure it wouldn't get filtered out by any ATS (assuming that's part of their process). I even got referrals for the roles and applied directly through the companies' websites.

Here's my background: no gaps in my education or career. I graduated from a tier-2 college but have 5 years of solid experience in Data Science & Analytics. I completed my postgraduate degree in Data Science and am currently working as a Senior Consultant at PwC, having been promoted this year.

Yet, despite all this, my applications were rejected. It's incredibly disappointing! How can I improve my job applications? Where am I going wrong?

Thanks for letting me rant and for any advice you can offer!

That's ok. It's not everything. We don't know the filter criteria used. You can write to the HR and ask about it. Something must be off. Who knows?
