Overlapping in EPFO
Hello friends - I want to ask for your opinion about my problem, can you please show me the right direction? I had become an absconder in my previous company. There is a 1 month overlap on my EPFO portal because I had joined the second company even before giving resignation to the first company. And now I am not showing the experience of the previous company in the resume which was only for one month, and due to absconding, I don't have the relieving & experience letter from that company. I have requested the previous company to change the D.O.E. in their official & EPFO record because the receiving letter has still not been generated, but they are not ready to change it. So, should I think about switching now... if I switch, what difficulties can come and how can these be removed?

Epfo has provided a button now a days if you click on that button may be you will be able to delete that company record

Did you try updating the DOE in PF portal yourself? You would need to get this sorted eventually, otherwise PF transfer wont happen and then it would become an eventual headache since you would need to visit EPFO office to get the entries merged somehow.
