Over-inflated flat rents in Bangalore

Hi all, how do you guys hunt for flats in Bangalore. Like I have been looking for a decent 3 BHK flat in a gated society near Kadubeeshanahalli/Marathahalli. But God forbid, the prices are reaching over the clouds, I mean, 70 - 80k excluding maintenance for a semi furnished decent flat, and brokerage fee above that too. Why are these prices over inflated even though there are countless flats in Bangalore, there has been so much layoffs recently! Who's taking these flats at this price?

I'd appreciate any advice.
