Outsourced job ?

Hey everyone, I’ve been offered the same role I currently do at KPMG, but this time it’s through a third-party company, for a major consulting firm to work on their US clients. The salary is really good, but I’m not sure how safe or stable it is to work as a third-party resource. Can anyone guide me on this?
