Out of touch top management

I recently had a meeting with one of the top management people from my LoB during the inauguration of the new campus in SAP Labs BLR. We are the one of the LoBs shifted to new campus among many.

The person literally told us why he took the decision and everyone that knew me looked at each other silently and had the same thought, how much out of touch they are from the current situation in Bangalore or any big city in India.

They literally said that in coming time, the infrastructure, public transport and government will improve the overall city conditions hence you can travel 40km+ on average 3 times a week by next year start. First they don't pay enough in the LoB, then they shift us to new campus behind airport, then they say such things and think they are in the right, even in the company wide survey they received bad reviews all across questions.

We all working class Indians know the "real" reality.

After the meeting we were all discussing that they think it is USA or EU where things do work out, even there people revolted and had issues and the compaines received backlash from employees.

I mean you take a decision for more than 400 people not from this country and then tell aloud your ignorant and out of touch thinking from the ground reality.

I mean I guess they think everyone has the same facilities like them and can afford shifting and adjusting the lifestyle at their decisions as and when they want.

It's just pathetic and sad.
