Its easy to crib about Western/Japanese companies. To understand how lagging we are on things - Hydraulic excavators were introduced in 1965. became mainstreamed in 1970's. We mainstreamed it in late 90's. we replaced wood seats in UR rail coaches in 2007. We cherish poverty. The top 1% of this country want people poor and dependent. Our bajaj. hero and TVS couldnt develop a decent bike/ engine inspite of being near monopoly over their segment. They didnt want to. Indians lack critical thinking. Our education system after the 60s is designed to create clerks and officers. not scientist, not thinkers. Thanks to indiscriminate reservations we do not create, we just follow.
