Other state car in Bangalore

Planning to buy a car in my home state. But as I am working in Bangalore, I will have to use that car in Bangalore. Is it safe to do so? Or the police can seize the vehicle for not re-registering the car in KA? I would like to know your opinion and experiences on this matter

following this thread, till now I haven’t faced such issues yet l. I see a lot of non KA cars especially old ones running. But worth keep staying out of trouble

How long have you been using the car in Bangalore? If we show our home state aadhaar and voter id, will that be enough, if cops stop us?

If you plan to stay is Bangalore for more than a year, better have KA registration vehicle. Karnataka RTO does regular drives to catch non KA vehicles for not paying state road tax.
