Pros

Some teams are trying to solve good problems.
Tech stack is updated as per market.
Pay used to be competitive.
Someone who is starting their career and just wants to learn with almost no money, you can join.

Cons

Pathetic middle management.
Tech seems to be going downhill.
Upper management conveys in town halls that tech is not the main priority and we can work with B grade tech.
Constant layoffs, PIPs, unrealistic deadlines.
Favouritism culture at its peak.

Upper management selectively answers questions in town-halls and skips the real questions.
EM’s hands are tied by upper management, they have almost no say in their subordinates future/appraisal/career plan and gets pressure from both the sides.
Food business is somewhat break-even, Instamart is burning money.
All good folks were either laid off or left due to pathetic culture.
New CTO has the best fan following within the org and takes the best business and tech driven decisions (I hope you understand the sarcasm).
