Recently came across a comment about optional leaves expiring on 31st December. It got me curious - what exactly are optional leaves? Are they available to everyone? How can we taken them? Also, are they meant for specific occasions or events? Thanks in advance.

Optional leaves are floating holidays. So you get 2 of those and you can apply it for any festivals that are not mandatory in your location. Just check with your lead or manager for taking leave and you can add it in your timesheet.

optional leaves are for specific religious or cultural events. they are available to everyone. just apply through HR.
