Not true. Are there people w/ 10+ YOE in DS? Yes.
Are they many? No.
It is a supply and demand game.
Positioning is important. You can be a DS w/ 8 YOE and do well because there are not many DS with 5 YOE with the bulk of talent pool in early career.
