[Opinion] UPSC is the easiest way to earn a lot of money, Influence and Status in India ?

Influence, yes. Money, no unelss you willing to take bribes in which case sky is the limit. QoL, no. You get transferred to villages and have to settle for it.
Frequent transfers is bad for private employees. For those IAS/aiPS types they get all the facilities. They will have a house ready. Their kids will have school admissions ready. They will have assistants at neck and call. They don't have to worry about anything. bTW have seen the accommodation of a sub collector at a "village"?. Check in Google maps the size of the house, and it's garden - some billionaires in India live in a smaller accommodation.
Sub collector is the entry level job for an IAS.
A village is a village dude.
Relocation is always difficult for anyone, the kid who has a school admission ready, still has to join a new school, make new friends and shit.
Also billionaire? Seriously? You are confusing it with millionaires, billionaires are another league and NO their house is nowhere close to an IAS officer.
UPSC and easy don't go in the same sentence
There are multiple times more millionaires in India than UPSC crackers.
Those people can't show their wealth. This is equivalent to believing politicians entered the fray to serve people.
People voting yes have reference of all fancy stuff that Civil services offer and not reality
Btw the question is wrong, UPSC conducts many more exams than just Civil services 🙄
