Opinion/suggestion on the career path

I have 3 years of experience in Java development and an additional 2 years as a Technical Support Engineer at Salesforce. I left Salesforce due to family reasons, resulting in a six-month career gap. I'm currently seeking new opportunities but am hesitant to continue in programming, despite my strong knowledge of Java and SQL. I would greatly appreciate your advice.
