Opinion over job switch
Currently, a QA Developer with 2+ years of experience at a fintech. My former manager, who hired me directly from college, recently joined a UK-based startup that’s scaling up. He’s now offering me a consultant role at the startup with a 16-18 LPA salary (taxed as a consultant) and remote work.
Currently, my CTC is 12 LPA with better work-life balance. However, the startup is small (under 30 people) and would likely be more hectic. I'm in a dilemma and seeking advice.
It all depends on you. If wlb is a priority, stick with your org and try to get to a good org.
If you think the startup is exciting and is doing something new, take a shot and see what life gives you.
You are getting roughly 30% hike, calculate your in hand after taxes and see if that’s worth the shot, if you care about the finances more.

If you don't have dependants on you ... just take the plunge and experience the startup environment.
But startups are always risky !!!

A startup right now is not a good idea. They can shut their business any time and lay off then you can't do much.
