Opinion on reservation
Reservation has been there for a lot time. Conditions of many sc/st and obc have improved. But still today we see that in some remote villages, people do discrimination on basis of caste(you can't deny this, i have seen this with my own eyes). I feel like these people are the real ones that deserve reservation. But unfortunately all the reserved seats are taken by sc/st children from financially good background who had a good upbringing in good cities as their father was in a good government position. All good coaching centre like fitjee allen and all take lakhs of money, village people can hardly afford this. Unlike the ones in villages who are the real victims the ones in cities take the college seats and government jobs( this is what happens in most cases). Do you feel that we should have a rule that if parents are from a good background, children should not get reservation? Would live to know your opinion in comments.

Actualy i disagree with both the options. Reservation as a concept itself is discriminatory and creates further divides among the society. It is a reverse discrimination against the GC students. It aims at “equal” outcomes which is not possible and we are seeing that. Society by very nature is hierarchical. In india it is caste based lets say, in England it was aristocrats/peasants/nobles, In Japan there were Martian class. Even today our society is hierarchical despite all “social equality “. Better to remove reservation as a whole (not even economic basis required) and let everyone compete for jobs/seats. Imagine certain population is not allowed to compete on half of seats/jobs.
F*ck the reservation system man. I understand people from sc/st etc get lot of priority and help with this but the same is being misused too much to the point the India as a whole is suffering with issues like Brain Drain etc.

Reservations shouldn’t exist in any form. Gov should stop recognising caste as a legal concept
Caste based reservation may have provided many people with upward mobility in the past, but if more people who don't need it are benefitting than those who need it, then it's time for a major reform.
At this point, it's the only thing standing in between removing institutionalised caste system.
