No, it's completely bullshit.

And can it can be tested. Do study of group of 400 - 500 people, and first get their birthdate and time.

Based on that, get one year predictions of good and bad events for them from some astrologers / horoscopes.

Then actually record good & bad events that occur in lives of all those people over the year.

Calculate correlation between predicted events and actual events.

I can bet anything, that the correlation will be close to zero.

Also, due to central limit theorem in statistics, the events over the population will approximately be a bell curve - few people will experience a lot of good, or a lot of bad events, and most will be in the center of the curve, with a mixture of good & bad events, irrespective of what any predictions said.

Ta-da! Now you will have experimental scientific evidence to back that astrology is bullshit 😄

Astrology is bullshit. I always ask any astrologer that if ur so good at predicting future..why not predict stock prices

Jyotish shastra is a vedanga. One of the limbs essentials to study vedas.

It is mathematics, astronomy, physics, and everyone's knowledge possible condensed COUPLED WITH INTUITION.

I have predicted - what food fren was eating, frens marriage month , cousin skin disease , gadget breaking , frens dad's health situation etc just by being - satvick and having clean lifestyle with some blessings of jyotish knowledge through parampara. I am a founder SDE. Entire family is either professor or bureaucrats, trust me higher the education, more people Trust and make use of this knowledge for better life and alignment.

Then comes world of degree holding idiots for whom anything indic is superstitious, anything western is science. Ignore them.

What we need is a law against promoting non scientific beliefs. Quackery like astrotalk and the likes wouldn't have existed if we had some regulations against promoting this kind of BS

Some astrologers are really good, but 99% are fake.

It's not a myth.but we have forgotten the science behind it.

Article 51A(h) of Indian constitution makes developing scientific temper, humanism, and a spirit of inquiry a fundamental duty for every Indian citizen. Anyone who follows astrology is threat to society and its future. We as technocrats should actively discourage these practices, even more, we should shun religion too. Unfortunately, as per experience in 5 of the MNcs I've worked with, these highly salaried technocrats are one of the dumbest set of folks who are latched to these practices like a dog to a bit*h.

Depends on astrologer one guy predicted by exact job change date exact marriage date it turned out be true 😀

Astrology is a divine thing. But weak astrologers are wrongly creating fear in the society.
I learnt vedic astrology myself, and came to know lot of things. Started learning to accept things, different strengths one are naturally born with, behaviours, influence of nature on us.
Science is way behind ancient divine tools like astrology.
It depends on what view point you get into it. If u want solution to ur problems it's not the place. I wanted to understand people behaviour patterns and how it influences one living in society.

You need to find a knowledgeable person, who has studied this , it's like finding a needle in a haystack
