Opinion of life probs
My sister is in HCLtech working in US shift and having a baby of 3yO who she has to look after, they are calling her to office for 4 day compulsorily and she need to fulfil her hours as well in office, now her in-laws are asking to leave her job temporarily or they are making her feel guilty for not able to look after the baby, what should I suggest her. Why Indian manager are not empathetic enough to grant exception for any case. She tried to convince them for 3 days or not fulfilling the office hours. When things have gone more flexible why companies are taking more rigid approach?

Why are the in-laws and husband not supporting? Why does your sister have to sacrifice her career?
Anyways, assuming both your sister and her husband are earning, then they can easily hire a dedicated househelp for the child.
Get a car with driver for commute to office.
Suppose in doing all this, your sister uses 80% of her monthly salary, but still she will get to enjoy her work, her career will still grow without any breaks and she will save atleast 20% salary.

If possible, leave the job , It's not worth the life of your child wellbeing..

It’s very easy to say that as men, but if I place myself in her shoes it’s her who has to compromise and sacrifice everything for the child as if thats her sole responsibility and not shared. She would have blindly done that if her partner and in-laws were understanding enough and worth doing that.

Managers , HRs bohot bare wale C hai. Upper management WITCH companies ki bohot ghatiya h.

Move to WFH companies.

She should move to some better MNC organization with better flexibility & work life balance.
Can't hope for that in WITCH companies, unfortunately
