Opinion, help & Guidance for career change?

I am a 40 year old woman with decent career track in banking but many time, i do not find time for family and ofcourse myself and thinking to pursue a career as a professor in University or college.

Is it recommended to switch career at this age ?
Anyone who went through this changes or your any kith or kins ?
How much is Professor packages in Normal University or college? My current package is 32 L

Aahh! Many questions arises ... See in govt sector I don't think this much anyone can give like more than 32L and if you are really into private colleges there might be a possibility like IIM,IMT kind of colleges and if you looking for comfort and the same the time you want to spend time with your family govt teacher/professor job is for you. But you will be getting less than you are getting now.
