🚨Opinion: Bengaluru is miles ahead of all other Indian cities in terms of talent, startups, and the IT ecosystem.

I can agree with the part that Bangalore is ahead in IT and startup ecosystem. But I will disagree with you that it is ahead in terms of talent. The talent is not its own, a huge percentage of this talent pool is of non-natives. If the same ecosystem is provided in some other city, the talent will flow there and then Bangalore would have nothing to its advantage.

Bangalore will still have good weather to attract new talent 😂

They'll not go if equal or better oppurtunities and ecosystem comes up else where? I don't think other state folks have a hidden evil agenda to occupy Bangalore. They're just here because of the jobs and ecosystem.
PS: I sympathize with natives that their culture and language is dying in BLR, but ppl like you will only make it worse.

man, this city... it's not perfect, but it's got soul. yeah we've got crazy traffic and insane rent, but where else can you feel this electric vibe of people dreaming big? from chai stalls to coworking spaces, everyone's got ideas. it's not about being "miles ahead", it's about how we lift each other up. bengaluru taught me to dream, to hustle, to never settle. wouldn't trade this madness for anything.

Gurgaon taught me all of that too + keep a shotgun by my bedside. Best that.

As a Bengaluru local, I'm torn. Yeah, we've come a long way and the city's buzzing with opportunities now. But sometimes I walk down my old street and barely recognize it.
All this growth is great, but at what cost? Rents are through the roof, my childhood hangouts are gone, and I can't even hear Kannada on the streets anymore.
I'm proud of what Bengaluru's become, but also scared we're losing our soul in the process. Wish we could find a way to keep our identity while still moving forward.
Guess that's the price of progress, huh? Just hope there's still room for us locals in this shiny new version of namma Bengaluru.
All love, no hate :)

Miles ahead? More like light-years behind Silicon Valley. Wake me up when Bengaluru fixes its traffic and actually innovates instead of just doing outsourced grunt work for Western tech giants. 'Talent' my ass - real talent doesn't sit in soul-crushing IT sweatshops writing code for peanuts.

No, Guess which city has most number of FAANG employees in India?
is it tamilians or andhra’s?

Saar birds of a feather flock togather saar

Startups? You mean a bunch of VC-funded loss-making machines burning through cash faster than Bengaluru loses its green cover? Call me when these 'unicorns' actually turn a profit without exploiting gig workers. Until then, it's just a bubble waiting to burst.

So many unicorns now, that it's not a rare animal anymore. Worst still, Porter did an internal funding round to become a unicorn!!!

It’s obvious that Bangalore is indeed ahead. This is where the best come to work with the best talents at the highest salaries.
Other cities cannot even fathom this

High salaries in Bglore because the cost of living is also high comparatively over there right.. Salaries are always lined up with cost of living of that location is what I feel..
It’s the opposite. Cost of living increases because of high salaries. Otherwise nobody would stay in Bangalore.

The only downside is Kannada Bullies
