Onsite vs offshore
The onsite guy literally does not even respond to chat messages or shares information happening there.
All the calls he is keeping with client people in the call and discusses everything.
As all calls got delayed post 8PM to late hours daily.....I raised this issue based on internal discussion with the lead & dropped mail mentioning the difficulties....which got escalated.....so he got offended and put me and lead down in the calls....
Literally don't understand how people with such poor attitudes are surviving here ? Is it common here ?

Set your boundaries in the sense of working hours. Mark in your calendar your office hours. Don’t pick/attend any meetings beyond that. Let then escalate. See the results in few days. No one can force you beyond 9 hours. If someone is asking to work then just ask he/she to drop the email. And reply with that, you will mark that many hours extra in timesheet, say 11 hours instead of 9 hours.

Always talk first before dropping mail..basically mails are used as weapons..incase talking doesnt help. Then drop the mail

He never listen what we speak does not check group teams chat
On the call will ask when can you present , is the PPT ready ? Etc
Have quite an accountable experience never came across such a guy....

Oh..i have myself faced such idiot..basically he has no knowledge..he just wants to showcase offshore work under his name..ask tech questions keep the client in loop..see the fun then

Deny attending late night calls. Client call is onsite responsibilty.
If onsite needs help, ask him to set up a call in your working timezone and they can take handover from you and take client calls independently. If he/she is not able to handle client calls independently, clearly call out their dependency on you.

Purposely call is scheduled late hours in their time zone and asking to extend...we are also ok to work little late...problem is happening daily....

Showcasing that he is doing all the work mentioning that off shore team is having only 30 mins overlapping onsite and in meeting saying like I am medical issues so need to assign based on their competency....

Take your lead into confidence. Answer the questions with your own set of questions.. instead of working as slaves to onsite ppl .. make them work by asking questions which will make them uncomfortable and then they will beg for our mercy

Without basic human behaviour I don't know what these guys gonna do....

Also i agree there is lot of idiots at onshore
