Onsite Perks and Benefits

Hi

I just wanted to check with those from TCs currently onsite especially if any in Australia / Germany / Hongkong how much is the approx deputation allowance provided ?

Is it fair enough to cover your cost of lodging and boarding in that place ?

Do people really save some extra money getting deputed onsite after the basic expenses of accommodation and food and a decent lifestyle ?

If not then what exactly are the materialistic perks or other reasons one should consider onsite opportunities ?

So I basically wanna understand the benefits of getting an onsite opportunity V/S working here in the same company.

Correct me if I am wrong I understand your salary remains the same as per base location and same appraisal policies and stuff are applicable am I Right ?

Or salaries are revised as well and you get paid as per your counterparts in those locations ?
