Onsite or resign from TCS - Need Suggestion

Hi folks, I have dropped my resignation in TCS and at account level they are coming up with hungary opportunity. Can I trust them ? I am a bit interested in exploring the new places over money. I do not know what would be the cost of living and potential savings there. They mentioned that it would take around 6-8 months for the end to end process. kindly suggest what would be the right approach to be done before revoking the paper.

Resign, they give peanuts at onshore these days and cost of living and inflation is at peak abroad

Any onsite process except US, shouldn't take more than couple of months. Specially EU and nearby takes even less subjected to system approval which is under the project control. Do not revoke resignation until your travel request for is not raised in the system. Once they start the process of COS, then you may consider revoking if you are willing to travel.

TCS offered. Initially they planned to match the hike but they couldn't do it and came up with an onsite offer.

Ask yourself, what if they say no later!

Planning to ask for mail proof to confirm the onsite travel. If they don't confirm anything in the mail, then resigning is the only best option.

Check if anyone is currently on-site from your project. Hungary is a good country with easy access to all EU countries. If travelling is something that you like then it would be much cheaper doing it from Hungary. PS: Considering this is a real offer and not some BS.

I was in same situation couldn't match the offer so offered onsite ... I went onsite after 1 year of wait... that too bcoz of some connections in onsite ... similar case happened with my frnd who waited 1 year and later resigned. Mail proof doesn't have any leverage once u revoke.

You may get onsite from nee company or any other company in future. Take the hike, else once the onsite from tcs ends you will have to comback to same peanut Indian salary, that is also if there is onsite in actual.
