Onsite Opportunity
I have resigned and 50 more days left. My old team lead, who gave me a chance to work as a developer even though my previous experience was in a support role, now he is going onsite to Australia. He suddenly called me one day and asked If i am interested as there are vacancies over there. He didn't know I resigned. I told him after he asked me for this opportunity he told that i can revoke if onsite chances are high. I got a call from onsite delivery manager and took my details and sol'n architect called me and took an interview. But I am still confused whether i should go for that or i should go for the offer with 120% hike almost in big4. My band is C1Y and I am having 3.9 exp. They said they can initiate the C2 as i have 3.9 if I am willing to come onsite any tips or suggestions like how can i get some confirmations or clarity
Take on mail from them that they are offering promotion plus Australia onsite and only for that you will be withdrawing your resignation.
I will not tell abt pkg, but definitely I will tell you that pls first ask for email confirmation and visa process then only revoke resignation. They should have sent you early only if they are sending you. Here u have put registration and they awake from sleep and got your value. So don't get fooled by them. First take confirmation on both or its literally they are trying to put carrot in your hand.
The opportunity is from different account not frm my project. My old team lead recommended my profile. And the onsite delivery manager called me and said this for not a single project but different projects as they openings
Ok, then check if your current project is easily. Releasing you from project. If they are releasing and ask DM as well of another project as I have resigned could u pls provide me any confirmation on onsite. As if there is any issue then I will lost my personal growth from both side.
You can go onsite if it is a different project. Don't go from the project which you resigned from. Also make sure they initiate your visa before you withdraw resignation.
If u have 3.9 yrs experienced i beleive u are not married yet . This is the correct time to explore onsite, staying there with family is very expensive in future . Please take it up as u might not get chance in future
I understand thanks for the suggestion. Like the delivery manager ssid they have many vacancies over their for different projects. What things i need get confirmation or something like that so that i believe I could get that. One thing is if this opportunity us from hr or my current project i could have definitely resigned. But it is frm different account and they only approached me based on my old team lead recommend my profile. Just tell me what i should ask or get clarity frm them to revoke my resignation and my current project manager is willing to release me if i really have the opportunity.
They should have approached because there are not many who are willing to take up the onsite for now. Practically speaking no one is going to give u a confirmation on email because untill ur visa is processed they might not be sure . Also you need to talk to ur manager first tell him your situation and ask them when can they release u . If after these many things there is a possibility the visa might not be granted as it depends on the crucial roles that are in demand which will be processed first . But I'm sure there are lot of roles for Australia. Try your luck , u can't do anything other than hoping for best. Get a confirmation from the other tower manager also if possible ask him to send an email before u revoke ur resignation.
Promotions are not happening not sure how they will promote you to c2. Also, Unless they initiate a visa, don't revoke resignation. Get everything in written. Understand how much time it will take for end to end process and also now much salary you will get them decide
In tcs until we get in flight, we can not trust .Less exp ,so please compare aus onsite package and new company package
