Luck/choices are always a factor in anything we have done or will be doing. I have stayed at Onsite(US/Europe) for 11 yrs and still chose to comeback to India.. I was begged by my client and Infosys to stay back for long term but I had made a decision to come back. Sometimes I get frustrated but don’t regret my decision. Coming back to your question, onsite opportunity is luck and depends on your account, your core skills , adaptability, learnability. But some of these are once you are there and have to make decision about staying or coming back

Onsite Opportunity is Frustration! When you don't get selected, you feel worse. If selected, the process itself is more tiring and timing consuming with no real promise of onsite as soon as you get visa. It's more of an cruel fate with Patience as path of journey.

1st u need to lick "***" . 2nd luck., third is skill.

More luck required + a bit of skill

By skill I mean technical skillset, if a person has great sales/soft skill he can talk the way into an onsite opportunity even without much technical skills ☺️
