Onsite Opportunities

After how many years of experience in TCS or Infosys can one avail onsite preferences. Supposing one is in the same project and recived a promotion in the same project as an AST or an ITA or as an SE?

While we need experience for getting onsite. There will be other factors too,
Good Skills+Communication+Good Relationships and a bit of luck being in the right place, right time.

US - 7 years Japan - 1.5 years Not sure about others but Mexico, UK are about 3-4 years

Not sure about the salary. But I do know that you get 2 salaries - 1 in YEN in your Japanese account, another in INR in your Indian account.
