Online assessments, Fresher and Depression
Cheating happening in a lot of online assessments. I'm a 2024 graduate and I've worked very hard. I've a consistent streak of 390+ days on leetcode. I'm proficient at CS fundamentals. I have knowledge of web, restAPI and ML. Recently a company visited (startup). It was offered 20L CTC for associate software engineer role. This company conducted OA in 4 batches and all batches had same qn. I'm tye only guy who got shortlisted from batch 1 and rest of the batch guys cheated and shortlisted. In the interview they rejected me for not knowing system design. I then messaged the founder of the company about cheating in exam and how crappy their system was. He didn't care. He replied saying that he already knows. Idk where the hell our world is going with such founders. For him it's about his company. For me it's about my job and hardwork. Is there anything I could do about this? And the guy who got selected cheated in OA and he was in the 3rd batch.

Life isn't fair! Period. If you think you put in the hardwork so you deserve the founder rolling out a red carpet for you? Sorry, but more often than not you'll be disappointed with those expectations in life, in general. The earlier you calibrate your expectations, the better you will be. It's the start of your career. This was a process flaw. You will find wilfull backstabbers in corporate life who might take credit for your hardwork. This will happen. You'll have to learn to focus on your goals and not these distractions. If you are good, you will go up sooner or later. My two cents!
What's next, you're going to message the district magistrate saying the official pocketed the pothole fix-up budget? Call the prime minister saying the CMs are not building as many temples as they claim?

The world ain't that fair
Who all are you gonna keep blaming, every now and then you will see some or the other cheating and making their way out. Even in organisation the office politics will screw things for you, will you still blame and complain you seniors? Just forget it and focus on things which went wrong and which you can change. Wish you do well in next interviews.
It's life these things will keep happening not under ur control just move on focus on other companies and system design basics dekhle 😂
