Can I request a one-week gap after my last working day before joining a new company for relocation? Do companies usually accept this?

There is nothing wrong or right in dealing for companies.
If they want they will hire anyone. If they decide not to ,even 3 hrs break in between will not be accepted.
Among all jobs ,HR are the most morally flexible.
