One sided friendships doesn’t last..

Feeling puzzled about lasting friendships lately. I'm usually the one initiating conversations, and it seems like people go silent for days on WhatsApp as if they don’t use it. Is this a common experience ?🤔 How do people manage to last their school or college friendships?

Everyone is selfish as hell... Felt the same way. I was the one way who was interacting and making conversations but as soon as I cut myself off from initiating anything, Everyone goes away.

To me, the word 'friend' means a favoured companion. You are a 'friend' if you favour someone when you can without it affecting you in any way.

There is no obligation in it that the other person should also see you in the same way. Your entire issue here, seems to be coming from your expectation that they should continue chatting with you.
